Ehrhardt Tool is currently seeking a Mechanical Controls Technician for the Special Machine Department. Primary duties include building panels from prints, install electrical wiring and assemble components in control panels and industrial equipment, troubleshoot and perform warranty work. Set up and operate conventional metalworking and cutting machines to fabricate parts. Trade school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of two years experience required. Knowledge and experience of the following a plus: machine controls applications, machine building, machinist, welding and millwright. Travel is required. (See Job Description for complete details.)
Ehrhardt designs and builds customized tools, dies, special machines and automated equipment to our customer specifications. Ehrhardt provides products and services to our customers in the HVAC, Appliance, Vending Machine, Nuclear Fuels and Automotive industries.
Ehrhardt's manufacturing capabilities are housed in an 82,000 square foot building. The fully air-conditioned building was built for Ehrhardt in 1997 after it became clear that Ehrhardt could no longer expand upon the old facility across the river in St. Louis, Missouri.
